I am getting phantom phone calls from one person, she 'called' me twice, but did not in reality. And then later on she got phantom phone call from me, but I had not called her. In the beginning I joked that she was stalking me, which was very funny for a short while, but then I 'called' her! I don't know what the heck's going on, has my iPhone been hacked? Is AT&T playing up? She laid her blackberry phone next to mine, and I saw her phone light up 'Drew calling', but my iPhone remained blank.
Flummoxed. Anyone?

Ok... So I guess someone at office playin' games with me. Now I want to get back at him.
I looked for a Fake phone call app of which there are many, but not of the sort I want. They all let you make fake phone calls to yourself, but what I want is the ability to make phone calls, say from our boss to my friend playing tricks on me. So they would get a phone call as if the boss is calling them. The 'Bluff My Phone Call' app only works on jailbroken phones, I don't want to do that.
Its a websit that allows you to put in your phone number. Put in a number to call and then what you want the caller id to show. You then call a special number in new york or something and it routes you to whoever you want and their caller id shows whatever number you want. hope this helps
Could be any of the above. Technically it is legal as long as you dont threaten the person or use it to try and steal someones identity. I work for at&t and we get tons of calls a day about this and for the longest time we thought the customers were crazy cause even the bill will come and show whatever number they put. No way to really track it or anything except that whoever is doing it will show that they are calling this special number new york. So you could try and get her phone bill or something 🙂
just go the website and hit "TRY FOR FREE" you can do it from your iPhone Safari browser. Put in all the information and hit submit. Then you can copy and paste the numer into keypad and make the call.
I see no 'Try for Free' on my iPhone browser, maybe it was there before but no longer. Tks for your help, I guess I can let it go... but it kind of irks me that somebody can do something on their Windows box/Blackberry that I can't on my Mac/iPhone. Tks again.
