Music Visualizer on Quartz Composer 2.0 (OS X 10.4)

Hi,

I am a newcomer to Quartz Composer. I know that QC 3.0 that ships with Leopard has a template to build a music visualizer. How might I go about doing this in Tiger with QC 2.0?

Direction to any relevant online tutorials or a description of a work around would be great.

The iTunes Music Visualizer protocol is only available within QC3 or higher.

The only way to utilise Quartz Composer that I can think of would be to use the iTunes Visualizer SDK and build your own plugin incorporating a composition, but then you'd probably get a faster result with Tiger creating your own iTunes plugin bundle, sans Quartz Composer composition incorporated in any way at all.

This tutorial requires that you have Audio Codex installed that uses a looser versioning of the Music Visualizer protocol and at the very end of the tutorial, it describes how you can incorporate your compositions within Audio Codex running on Tiger.
