MIDI setup for Roland RD-700 SX
Hi everyone, i hope anybody can help here, since i am going nuts otherwise.
I am trying to access the various sound banks from within logic. The mapping for the patch bank can be changed with cherrypicker as far as i read.
But how am i able to actuallt change the bank on the RD-700?
I i did setup the MIDI device as state in Rolands RD-700 readme file that they supplied with the driver. Connected everything within the Audio/MIDI setup utility.
In logic express 8 i then have (RD, RD MIDI OUT 1 and RD MIDI OUT 2) devices to select from.
However if i create a new external MIDI track, double click the track and select Prg 14=27 from Bank 1 i would await a D-50 E.Piano sound playing, but instead i hear the std. general MIDI tubular-bell sound.
Can anybody tell me where i do have to configure what to change this?
Regards,
Jens
