Propellerhead Reason 3 compatibility with Snow Leopard?

Before I buy the Snow Leopard update, I want to make sure of compatibility with a few of my apps. I know there are compatibility lists out there but I can't find any specific mention of Snow Leopard's compatibility with Propellerhead Reason 3.

Can anyone with Reason 3 who has taken the Snow Leopard plunge let me know if there were any issues?

cheers,
Ian

I understand your implication, i.e. that I should have gone there first. With any compatibility issue there's a choice: do I put the question to Product A users who may have also used Product B, or the other way round, or both?

Now in actual fact, I did visit their site and I saw that it only has information pertaining to compatibility with Leopard, not Snow Leopard. Their forum shows one unanswered post with the same question. The Apple forums are far more widely read, and my experience with email support for these sort of products is such that I'd consider it a last resort because of the low probability of a response. I made the call that it was more likely that (at this early stage after SL's release) the Apple forums might reveal a user who has used both products.

cheers,
Ian

Propellerhead just released a new version (this week) - I wonder if earlier versions will not even be considered to be Snow Leopard-compatible.

Totally off-topic, I talked to the folks at Carbonite this afternoon. They have a very popular Windows backup scheme - and recently released a "dumbed-down" version for Mac (lacking backup scheduling, and other important-to-many features that are in the Windows version).

"We haven't tested Carbonite for Mac under Snow Leopard yet ... " - was the first statement made by their representative.

This attitude just made me wonder: Authors of US$19 little utilities have released Snow Leopard-compatible versions this week, so Apple allows publishers of all sizes to get into the beta process. But why would several MAJOR applications not care enough to get their collective acts together for us?

And so it goes. I am off to a local retailer, who's opening up at a minute past midnight to sell Snow Leopard for a couple hours tonight.
