I upgraded to 10.6 yesterday and I can confirm that my Digi Core Audio stopped working (mostly). My Digirack simply stopped showing up as an accessible audio device for the OS. Logic still picks it up and it works flawlessy through my Logic Pro 8, but GarageBand cuts the connection to the Digirack immediately after I select it as my Audio Output in GB's Preferences.
Im really disappointed, because the same happened when I upgraded to Leopard. It wasnt until version 10.5.3 that it started working properly.
Im not sure where the problem lies, but I hope either DigiDesign or Apple fixes the problem soon.

if you work with Digidesign products would should be aware that it takes a while until they release compatible updates to the latest OS X version ......

and of course before updating or upgrading check each company's website or forums for hardware, software etc compatibility....

Hehe..yeah..Im perfectly aware of that...but I was really curious on the OS, so I installed it anyway..and so far it hasnt given me any other inconveniences other than the fact that the audio in iTunes and my browsers need my Creative-card to work. This is highly irrelevant info though...anyway, my last post was to answer threadstarters question through my experiences.

Yeah my firewire solo doesn't run on snow leopard--the driver package fails to install with a ktext error. This was the latest package, for 10.5.8.

That's bad. The Digi 002 is a fine tool for recording with Garageband and Logic Studio.
Apple should make it compatible with its software because a lot of people use the Digi 002.
In fact: Pro Tools has made me see that Logic is the best software. Why not help all the musicians who changed from ProTools to Logic Studio and Garageband?
I will not upgrade with Snow Leopard if this issue is not solved.

I own this card too (nice card), and every time a new OS comes out from Apple headquarters I think to switch to Apogee cards, because now I prefer Logic to compose rather than ProTools LE.

Digidesign releases compatibility updates to new OSX versions always late, with Leopard it takes months and months, but maybe 'cause their hard work on ProTools 8...now they will take less time to go...I hope so.
