I upgraded my iMac from 10.5. I have a HP 2840 AIO. It does not scan or print on my iMac, but I have a older Intel MacMini that I also upgraded to 10.6, and the HP DIrector software seems to work correctly on the Mini..

A few weeks ago I bought a brand new HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFP because 1) I wanted color and 2) my old LaserJet 3380 was very iffy when it came to scanning.

Imagine my disappointment when as soon as I upgraded to Snow Leopard, the CM2320nf lost its scan functionality.

I see that scanning is not supported for the 2320 on Apple's compatibility list. Please tell me 1) that this is temporary or 2) how to fix or 3) which All In Once Color Laser machine (with fax) I need to buy and I'll return the CM2320nf to HP?

    Thanks

Just installed 10.6 and now my HP Officejet J3680 will not work.
Tried everything suggested on the forums...still nothing.
It won't even install because there is only a driver for the fax and, that doesn't work either.
I switched to Mac because I was tired of all the updates and driver issues with MS.
Sounds like a "service pack 1" might be coming to your mac computer" real soon.
    Disappointed to say the least.
Bill Gates and crew must be saying..."see, it's not only us"
I guess those television commercials might have to go on hiatus for a bit.
If you don't have the drivers for thousands of peripherals, DON'T RELEASE IT UNTIL YOU DO!

Ok, so just to make it clear: Those drivers are not included in the HP Drivers 2.0 download currently available but will be available soon?

    HP Mac Architect ,

Before I found this thread, I uninstalled my HP Software with the Uninstaller, but without the Shift-Control-Command-Option. Did I miss any files that need to be removed?

    Thanks for your help.

Just trying to make sure that I've understood what I've read, since it isn't always completely clear which devices the various replies are referring to...

Am I right in thinking that there is currently no way to get a Scanjet 4070 to work with 10.6, but that HP will release drivers for it within a week? If so, where will that release be announced?

You can add me to the long list of ****** off HP printer\Snow Leopard users. Printer model 1006, as we know isn't working. I use it in my business and that's how I make a living. I'm going to have to go back to Leopard TONIGHT in order to get my work done. I should return my snow leopard disc to apple for a refund. Word to Apple and HP, THIS IS PATHETIC!!!!!
It's a good thing I backed up my Leopard running system before changing to snow leopard! It's better to be safe than believe the "easy upgrade" hype and regret it.

Note to self: Never again upgrade an Apple operating system so fast. I should have learned with Leopard when it had a lot of bugs and wasn't stable until they released 10.5.2.

I have learned now! I have read on some of the boards that HP has told some customers who complained that they should buy a printer that is Snow Leopard compatible. If they told me that, I would do just that. Except it wouldn't be an HP printer and I would NEVER buy another HP product.
Snow Leopard, I'll see ya in about 6 months after hopefully the bugs have been worked out.

Following up on that thread: Are you sure the Officejet 5600 series AIO printers are included in the Software Updates?

This seems incorrect too. I have a HP 5610; Software Update tries and then says an "update not currently available" for my printer. Manually going to Apple site I found the "HP Drivers 2.0" update but installing did not solve problem. Still unable to ADD printer back so I can print in 10.6.

Only the "PDF" version is available to add. Yet strangely I found in Preview I can SCAN with the new software. But not print.

    Hersco,

I've talked to my team about this and we're working on getting it fixed ASAP. I don't know when it will be available, but once I do I'll let you know. And I can understand that this behavior is a bit frustrating. Its kind of a side effect since your device has both a scan bed and a document feeder. Theoretically all the setting for the last input mechanism stick we just appear to always default back to the document feeder which resets everything.

    Just trying to help.

    Andrew,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I appreciate the fact that you are doing this on your own time, and I'm glad to hear that a fix is in the works.
