Before installing Snow Leopard I could create a network with my mac mini's airport so I could share the ethernet connection but since I installed Snow Leopard, when I try to create a Network the message "Can't create a computer to computer network" appears in the screen.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Does anyone know the way to solve it?
||After restart or waking from sleep, there should be a message produced in your kernel log that says something like:
||
||en1: 802.11d country code set to 'xx'
||where xx is your country code. What is your country code?
When Internet Sharing is off
en1: 802.11d country code set to 'IT'.
With Internet sharing enabled

Do you need also the log with 64 bit Kernel??
As I pointed out before:
The last night update for me fixed the problem ONLY if I boot in 64 Kernel Mode..
NOT in 32... (Default)
Any Advice?
THanks
Francesco
Hi everybody,
I was contacted by an Apple Guy and we manage to solve the Problem
Here is problem and the fix...:
Starting form the hint of Apple guy:
"It could very well be that in 64 bit
mode, some app that interferes with the wireless interface, does not support 64 bit mode and so your wireless interface works. "
I've printed processes running booting 32 bit mode and processes running on 64...
And isolated the processes running ONLY in 32 bit mode....
So I found out the "bad" app...
IT was Check Point Secure Client The VPN client....
[Secure client doesn't work with 10.6 BUT there is a the fix.. ]
After disabling it (just by moving the dir... sudo mv /opt /opt2) Internet sharing works fine!!!!!!
Due to the Fact that I need vpn to work now I'm moving to IPSecuritas... hoping that this app will not interfere with IS.
I really want to Thank the Apple Guy for his help!
I’m pretty sure by now, though, that my Wifi drops/doesn’t find any or only ma network (while still being unable to log in) when I’m running on my battery.
Seems like Airport reception is worse than under 10.5, though.
Fun fact: While posting this, my connection dropped—again.
This is really annoying! I don’t know what else I can do. I’ve tried every solution proposed around here thats applicable to my setup. Nothing worked, at least not for an extended period of time …
Thanks for all of the information. Frustatingly all the same for me. Was happily connecting my iPod Touch via Airport on 10.4.9 upgraded to 10.6 and frustration. So far none of the sugggested work arounds have worked. We really do need a new upgrade that fixes this one.
