Can't create Network with Airport

Before installing Snow Leopard I could create a network with my mac mini's airport so I could share the ethernet connection but since I installed Snow Leopard, when I try to create a Network the message "Can't create a computer to computer network" appears in the screen.

Does this happen to anyone else?
Does anyone know the way to solve it?

Thanks for the help

Exact same problem here with 15" macbook pro. I use my laptop to set up a wireless network (internet sharing via 3G card) for my atv, iphone and my girlfriends laptop and ipod touch. Now we cannot create the network.
I have tried everything... different security settings, channels, sharing on/ off... nothing! We are in a semi remote area in Australia so interference is minimal.
I should note that I was having airport problems before upgrading to 10.6. The network would drop out every 10 seconds then come back again (wireless network, not 3G network). It still worked under 10.5 but not very well. I did get the network up and running once under 10.6 (it was stable) but that was only for 5 minutes and I had to restart. I thought that it might be a heat problem but even when the airport card temperature was low I had the same problem. Apple... help me!! I seem to be able to connect to wireless networks without issue. Any ideas?

Same problem here - worked perfectly under Leopard, broken under Snow Leopard. Right this minute I'm half way through formatting and installing Leopard again.

I'm really starting to get sick of issues like this with OS X. I've had my MacBook since Tiger and there's been at least 5 or 10 fairly major issues like this with the various versions of OS X that have come out since. I don't know how Apple manages to do it since they know exactly what hardware it will be running on.

ok... I kinda have mine working. If I turn off everything in sharing (system properties) I can create my network. If I then turn on internet sharing (after the network is created) it appears to work. It will not work if I try to create a network with internet sharing on initially. But there is definitely some weird stuff going on. If I create my network with a random name it creates a network with my old network name (***). System preferences also keeps crashing when playing with this. Hope this helps some of you.
