HP LaserJet P1006

I have problems with my printer! I tried every possible solution, but it's still not working!
I find hard to believe that I have one of the best O.S. but I can't use my printer!!!!

In two days I have to present an important work to my professor and in this condition I have to use my nice's macbook to print my document!
I'm really upset with Apple and HP!

Can someone help me?
I tried to follow some indications that I saw in other threads, but nothing is working!

Thanks in advance!

Ps: sorry for my "not perfect" English!

OK, basic trouble shooting:

1) Delete and add the print queue back.
2) If that doesn't work, reset the printing system and add the print queue back.
3) If that still doesn't work, delete the printer queue, delete /Library/Printers/hp and the appropriate PPD out of /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources, restart (or shutdown wait for a minute and start back up), and then re-install the print drivers provided with Snow Leopard off of the DVD (in extras) or by downloading them here.
4) Add your print queue back.

If you still having troubles post back. And note we are working on an installer for these devices as quickly as we can.

Just trying to help.

How did you get it print a page?
I reset the print in the system preferences, deleted the folder /Library/Printers/hp and reinstall the driver that I downloaded from HP website. Rebooted the computer. I tried to print some document from Preview and MS Word. But I got the error, it said "PrintJobMgr quit unexpectedly."

The driver that comes with the printer did not install, it said the newer version is installed.

I'm having the same problems as everyone else. I also have a HP LJ P1006 and I've tried all the solutions suggested. I decided to reinstall the first Snow Leopard update. After that I was able to print only once. All successive attempts have resulted in the same PrintJobMgr errors. I also reinstalled the latest HP drivers from the Apple website. At about 90% into the installation, I get a window that says:
"System Extension Cannot Be used." It says something like CNQL1212_ClassicNotSeize.kext was not improperly installed or something like that. Not sure if that has anything to do with the problem.
I hope someone finds a solution soon. My wife is ready to cut my head off because she can't print!

I'm getting this same error. When I did an upgrade install on my iMac, I got the message and the install did not complete. I rebooted and tried again. The install seemed to work properly without complaint. But every once in a while, the message pops up again. It came up today when I upgraded to iTunes 9.0.1. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

What is this error?

You can safely remove that file, it should be located here:

/System/Library/Extensions/CNQL1212_ClassicNotSeize.kext

Specifically it appears to be an old Canon kext that was most likely used to enable printing from within the Classic environment. Since Classic is not supported on 10.6 (or 10.5, or ...) I think its pretty safe to remove.

Just trying to help.
