Sorry to hear that. What you can try:

* Reboot from Snow Leopard dvd
* Run Disk Utility from menubar; repair Permissions and check HD
* Close Disk Utility and open Terminal
* Remove contents of ~/Library/Caches, /Library/Caches and /System/Library/Caches
* Reboot

I am getting exactly the same thing, dozens of crashes an hour with all parts Adobe CS4 and obscure programs like Deltagraph 5

Same here. Happens all the time with CS4, but also getting the crashes with apps like Mail, Firefox (when uploading files), TextEdit, Pages, Word, Toast 10, Mailplane, etc.

I am getting the same thing OVER and OVER! I have wiped my hard drive and reinstalled all of my applications (5 times) and still get the same old thing. It is happening in Safari, Mail (which is also displaying all of my incoming messages as arriving one our earlier than they do), CS4 (take your pick of apps there), excel, and Logic Pro. I don't thinkI have any issues with Adobe Lightroom, or word. Somebody needs to come up with something other than finger pointing here! I can't work, right now all I have is an $8000 paperweight. FWIW my MacBook Pro seems stable, although I don't use it much for anything surfing the web and email these days.

I have the same problem, with Photoshop CS4, mail etc.

Tryed it, doesn't works.

Too bad, why can't Apple do something about it? 😉

I read a tip in another thread and it actually worked for me. All I had to do was to disable file sharing and remove all shares listed.
