Only "secure empty trash" choice? Is this correct??

Since loaded Snow Leopard, only "secure empty trash" is available... Just wondering if this is correct.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6)

go to finder preferences->advanced and uncheck the option to empty trash securely.

Go to the Finder preferences, under the Advanced tab, and make sure the secure empty trash option is not selected.
