Virus from Vuze
Hi...
I've been downloading from Vuze for a few weeks, and just recently I contracted a virus. The extent of it was a voice reciting everything that was on the screen (not just the normal speaking text, but saying "new Safari window, html content" and "selected, song, artist, time", telling me what was highlighted, what my cursor was over, etc.). It was just a bit annoying, until, for some reason, it's not letting me get online anymore. It's not the AirPort connection because I've tried different locations.
I was thinking of just taking it to a Mac store (where I would probably be instructed to buy Anti-Virus software), but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do, given I can't access internet, and my little-free-virus-scan-programs aren't picking up anything.
Thank you thank you thank you.
