Question

new to P2

Quick question - i´m new to working with P2 and have a Panasonic HVX-170. After transferring the clips to my disk (using log and transfer) should i convert them in sme way or should i just work with them "as is" in FCP?

Once you have copied in the intact p2 volume to your media drive, you use the log and transfer function in FCP to ingest them. This assumes 6.0.5 or later.

thanks! I use the log and transfer window directly from the camera into FCP.

Bad idea. Back up the clips first, then do a L&T from a copy..
