iphone and Porsche CDR-30 Bluetooth Problem

I have hands free capability in my car and have not been able to pair my iphone with my CDR-30. I have tried searching for the phone from the car and opposite. The iphone recognizes the CDR-30 and the car recognizes the iphone. It asks if I would like it to authorize my iphone. However, when I hit ok it does nothing instead of coming up with an authorization number and then eventually says that there was an error authorizing the phone. Iphone is 3g and running 3.0.1.
