iphone volume bottom doesnt work!
hi, im trying to put volume to my iphone but it doest respond, the volum key down work but not up...
iMac 2.4ghz 24in 2gb, Mac OS X (10.6)
Do you have it in a case?

try to raise volume from settings > sound to see if it's a problem of your volume button on the side of the iphone or is a speaker problem.

yes i have it on a case, but i did also tried without a case and its not working.
from the setting menu it work, but i dont want to keep going into setting everytime i want to put some volume up.

You need to get the rocker switch module replaced, had the same problem on a 2G - in UK cost £100!
Sounds like a mechanical problem. Get an appt at an Apple store and they will probably replace the 3GS.
