Snow Leopard - Screen Resolution

Hi - Have just upgraded and the screen resolution is awful. The crispness has gone and everything is stretched sideways. I have an Acer AL1916W screen with a 1152x864 resolution. The text is blurred and there is no depth of colour - it is like looking at an old computer. I have reset the PRAM and this has not helped.

Any ideas MUCH appreciated!

Hi, I did a quick search for your monitor, and on the product page it tells me it has a native resolution of 1440 x 900. Maybe that's why your display looks blurred, as it's running in 1152 x 864 resolution.

I would go to the Displays preference, and see if you can set the monitor to 1440 x 900 resolution, and see if it looks better at this setting.
