Time Machine and Apple Remote Desktop Admin

Since I installed Snow Leopard the Time Machine backup failed (eventually crashing the machine) when Apple Remote Desktop Admin is running in background. With the Apple application close the TM backup on a remote network disk is perfect. This is happening in 2 different machines. The system was upgraded and so was the RDA application.
Any idea if the 2 applications have trouble running together or if there's something else that can be done?
