Just a confirmation, and thanks for the tip on the 10.4 driver from Netgear (www.netgear.com). My MacBook AirPort function died and I bought the WG111 as a remedy. I installed the v3 10.5 driver from their page (or attempted to, as it often produces an error during installation) to no avail. I found a couple of possible workarounds from on-line research, but none seemed to work. I uninstalled the 10.5 driver and installed the 10.4 instead and everything worked just fine. I'm running SL 10.6.2 on a 13" black MacBook (2 GHz) machine. No issues at all so far.
