Ringtones - "Select ringtone" greyed out

Ringtones - "Select ringtone" greyed out

I am trying to download some ringtones, and I have followed the instructions for setting the download up. However, when I go to "Store...Create Ringtone" that selection is greyed out. I am fairly sure I have the correct blocks checked to download them. What else should I look to correct?

Nope. It is my new iPhone Gs. I just went in today again and the same thing is happening. Also, when I click on the "bell" I get instructions for how to download, not the execution of the program itself.

You should post this in the iphone forum.

This is the ipod touch forum.

Are you clicking on the bell from within the Music Library or from a playlist. I believe hat you have to select it from the Library, not a playlist.

However, there are many free ways to make ringtones. Google "iphone ringtone."
