Keyboard shortcuts for moving bullets around (left and right)

In Microsoft Word you can press the TAB key to move bullets to the right. then you can press TAB again followed by BACKSPACE to move the bullet back again (to the left). i can't seem to move the bullet back to left in Pages. it just deletes the bullet so i have to go back through the Inspector to insert a new bullet. this is very time consuming when trying to take notes in class.

anyone?

I looked through the user guide and couldn't find anything that provides an answer to my question. There is only one main section on bullets and it's only a page long at best. It didn't touch on bullet navigation. I called the Apple support line for Pages and they told me to ask this forum because they didn't know either. Someone must know. I hope!

I found four ways to increase or decrease list indents & I didn't once look at the manual. Just perusing the menus & the inspector revealed them. The hardest part was getting them all to show on a single screenshot. First, the Format > Text menu reveals two - the selection from the menu & the keyboard commands you can use instead. Second, adding the increase & decrease buttons to your toolbar &, third, in the text inspector > List > Indent Level.

If you are talking about Right to Left text, you don't because it is broke.

The only game in town is Mellel:

If it is shifting the bullet indent, that was explained above, also:

If you are going to use it, then pay for it.

It is not expensive and is an excellent program, particularly if you need to do R to L text.

You can forget MsWord for Mac OSX.

Check out Tom Gewecke's website for full information on multi-lingual word processing on the Mac:
