tuner not working

I'm having the same problem. Found this thread which is marked "This question is answered. "Helpful" answers available: 2 . "Solved" answers available: 1 ." but there are no replies showing except the original question.

Can someone post the solution?

I just opened a new GB project and the tuner is working. When I opened the project where the tuner is not working it said that it was from an older version of GB and if I saved it the project could no longer be opened by the older version of GB. Reopened the tuner-less project and the tuner still doesn't work. Must be a bug in the file conversion process...

That may not be a bad thing, I find my tuner in GB '08 to be way too sensitive.

I had this same problem, and I was able to fix it by creating a new track, and selecting "Real Instrument" as the track type.
After that you can delete that track, and start tuning with your instrument plugged in. 😉

That didn't work for me when I tried it, but even if it had, it's not a real solution. One day the tuner's working, the next it's not. Why is it happening and is there a fix coming?
