How come ACLs aren't visible in finder

I have a server setup. I mount a share. I get info for a folder on the share. The info window doesn't show any of the ACLs that are visible locally or from Server Admin.

So basically the ACLs are there. But when I am on a client machine the Finder doesn't show those acls.

Thanks

Hi,

Try this...
ACLs in the Finder

The Finder is fully compatible with ACLs. However, it can only display ACLs, not define or alter them. The standard feature to display permissions can be used on ACLs, too:

Select an object in the Finder.
Select the menu item File > Get Info, or press Cmd+I.
Open the section Ownership & Permissions in the information panel.

Above info is from here: http://www.bresink.de/osx/193281/Docs-en/ACL.html

Than add an ACL on the server that gives the network user readsecurity permissions for that shared directory. That should do it.

I made an acl with the Group I am in and myself User "Full Control", basically "readsecurity"...

I think this is a security feature. Basically where only admins have the ability to setup folders (in server admin) for users and groups.

Thanks for the help I am giving up because I have read these other links about this problem also and they have no solutions either, it's the same issue.
