Cbeyond usb modem connection?

Does anyone know how to connect and activate a usb modem from Cbeyond? Their tech support has been no help. I have downloaded software for the Mac drivers that Cbeyond provided but i cant get the device to activate.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

If you bought this modem yourself and CBeyond can't help you, return the modem for a refund and buy one whose manufacturer properly supports it for use with Macs.

If the modem was issued to you by your employer, then keep after CBeyond until you reach a complete impasse, then take the evidence of that to your employer and ask for something else that will work.
