Expresscard 34 e-sata + Snow Leopard+My book

I just bought my first express card for eSATA and nothing happens when I install it. I tried installing the driver from the Apiotek site---which installed fine---but still nothing happens. I'm looking for a solution too....

I have a Best Connectivity eSata Express Card that I purchased from OWC. I have a 2.5 inch Sata drive in a Voyager Q Dock. This combination has always worked with Leopard and Snow Leopard (10.6 and 10.6.1). I have never needed to download any drivers. A I type this message I am booted from this combination.
