Scan Image for Restore (internal error)

Hi,
I've tried the following a few times and I'm always confronted with the same error (internal error). I wipe the internal drive and do a restore of the *.dmg I created after a fresh install of 10.6. I then go ahead and do a full install of Logic Studio 9 from the DVD's. Once completed I immediately create a *.dmg of it. When I choose scan image to restore referencing my newly created .dmg (SL10.6_LogicStudio9.dmg) it scans the image but at the very end generates this message:
*Unable to scan SL10.6_LogicStudio9.dmg (internal error)*. Folks this is from a fresh load of both products and I even ran repair permissions and repair disk before creating the .dmg and it found no errors. I've tried this more then once but the outcome is always the same. I deleted the first .dmg file that got this error, created another *.dmg, but got the same results at the very end of the Scan Image for Restore. Any ideas, since it takes about 1 3/4 hours to load Logic. 😟 Your help is appreciated! Thanks!
