this is definitly not an issue with Router , interfering WLAN-Signals or else ...
my case:
MB: 10.6.7 (MB-Unibody2008)
Router: FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7113 Annex AFirmware-Version 90.04.82 [g,b, g+b (its all similar behaviour)]
Any WLAN-Device has NO issues on connectifity .. Linux, Windows, Printer even the iphone3GS run flawlessly ..
since upgrading the MB to 10.6.7 i experience the issue of dropping WLAN-connectifity .. Apple then may show me a standing link (icon) , but on the lowlevel it fails ... no TCP/IP connections possible .. no DHCP
DEBUG shows:
#sudo dmesg

Auth result for: 00:24:fe:f6:30:34 MAC AUTH succeeded
AirPort: Link Up on en1
AirPort: RSN handshake complete on en1
AirPort: Link Down on en1. Reason 8 (Disassociated because station leaving)
even if the link is up , i get grosse ping replies from my WLAN-Gateway .. sometime over timeout
This is a BAD issue !!! and i suppose it should be taken more seriously by Apple-develpment
