i NEED to install the new itunes but when i do it comes up with a box saying it can not find iTunes.msi how can i fix this i can not uninstall it either

ok...i had itunes went to upgrade it cuz i got a new ipod said that the devices weren't installed properly...so i went to reinstall itunes after i followed the unistall troubleshoot proivded here, now itunes won't reinstall it just keeps sayin thanks for installing itunes. plz help me!!!
