ITUNES WILL NOT INSTALL

Try the *General installation troubleshooting* tips in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1926

You may have to follow the steps under *Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer,* which would have you remove leftover installer files using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

ok...i had itunes went to upgrade it cuz i got a new ipod said that the devices weren't installed properly...so i went to reinstall itunes after i followed the unistall troubleshoot proivded here, now itunes won't reinstall it just keeps sayin thanks for installing itunes. plz help me!!!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and 64bit program I downloaded iTunes 9.0.2.25, and was written during the installation:

Do you have administrator privileges?
Right click on the setup file and click Run as Administrator.

Well, I stepped into an administrator account, and right-click the installer file and select Run as administrator.
Still not a good installation.

Download and try installing the stand alone version of Quicktime.
If that works then try installing iTunes, a fresh download, over it.

He also tried to separate QuickTime program, yet a good installation. 😟
But Motherboard: Asus P5Q Deluxe, North Bridge: Intel Eaglelake P45, CPU: DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz (9x333), RAM: 4GB DDR 2, VGA: ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB.

I find strange.
I think it is because iTunes and Windows 7 Ultimate between.
1. iTunes 9.0.2 x64 installation, an error message was written hkey localmachine32 \ ...
2. Windows 7 Ultimate regedit: there is only HKEY LOCALMACHINE \

also having problems installing itunes in Vista 64 bit. Getting similar error message regarding hkey...32.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit operating system is Windows program mode.
With this you can install iTunes, sync, etc. ...
