Hi,

Please except my two pence...

I would like to purchase an iMac as a replacement to my TV. The iMac has a DVI output which is great for connecting to a projector for presentations however the iMac does not have a DVI input. I have seen 3-party products that enable such as the EyeTV seem fine for analogue but reading some online reviews they don’t seem to stack up if you want to connect your X-Box to you’re iMac.

As this seems an increasable waist of a fantastic screen, does anyone at Apple know if they indented in adding a DVI input socket to the iMac?

Or is there is a 3-partry device, either Firewire, USB, or Ethernet for connecting HTMI or DVI devices to a Mac without converting to an Analogue signal along the way?
