Keynote won't print divider or rule lines

I often print to PDF my keynote lectures for my students with 6 slides per page (portrait) with divider lines and rule lines for them to take notes during lecture. I just installed Snow Leopard and now, even though the option boxes are clicked, these lines do not print, either directly or when saved as a PDF. Just a glitch?

Confirming this also. Tried changing printers and various Keynote and printer settings to no avail. Discovered this morning on two MacBook Pros running Keynote'09 (5.0.2) at my work. I'd just updated co-workers to SL this wkend. Luckily we had a printed copy of the handout we were modifying from last week. We printed out our new slides in new order and literally cut and taped new version onto older version with rule lines, low tech but it works! ... still annoying though ... Also tried export of Keynote slides to Power Point 2008, export/import worked great, and PP handout rule lines intact, but PP doesn't print 3 slides-to-page as large, so we're sticking with cut and tape method for now.

While waiting for Apple to fix KN, try this workaround:

Presenter notes will print. So, use the presenter notes area to make lines (using baselines, dashes, dots) in addition to/instead of notes. Fooling around a bit with formatting will ultimately yield useful results. Once you've got a format for lines which suits, you can copy and paste it onto all your slides. (Edit: Maybe you can also add this to your masters, so it'll automatically be on all slides. I haven't tried this yet, myself) Be sure to check "Add notes" in the print dialog.

I have this same problem. I used to always print slide shows as handouts with ruled lines beside the slides and since "upgrading" (not much of an upgrade) to Snow Leopard I cannot do this anymore. I contacted Apple and they said they would look into this problem. But a month later nothing. Good Job Apple! Great OS that removes the most basic features and Great support that does nothing to help there customers. At least I get what I pay for...

I found the notes line workaround a bit of a chore, so I made a template in pages from an old pdf of an outline with lines. I masked the original to leave nothing but the lines (works like an image) and put in media placeholders in the shape/size of my slides (6/page). I now export the keynote as images and drop each pic in a media placeholder. If my last page has less than 6 slides, I can just adjust the mask for the lines with no slide and exclude them. Seems like a lot of work at first, but after you've got your template set it's so much faster and easier (for me, anyways--I actually use the presenter notes) than saving another version of the keynote, erasing the notes, and putting lines in the presenter notes space.

I'm also working in the university world and use Keynote in my teaching, before I didn't have the need to use rules/divider lines but I do. Really unfortunate that Apple can't issue an update to address this problem. People are waiting, and more importantly we as educators have to struggle with workarounds which takes a lot of time. But then again, we did chose Apple. Now I can only hope that Apple chose to take time and effort to solve this issue for their loyal customers.
