Bluetooth card Older G5 to Newer

I recently installed a few parts and pieces from my older G5 to a newer one. The only item that is not behaving perfectly is the Bluetooth card. My older G5's back panel had the bluetooth antenna plug where as the newer G5 does not. After identify where the bluetooth card plugs in I transfered it offer to the new machine and just left the antenna cable inside the case w/out plugging in the antenna.

My apple wireless keyboard works fairly but my non-apple mouse is recognized but does not pair. Does anyone know if these newer machines w/out the bluetooth antenna plug on the back are made to accept the older bluetooth cards from Apple? I have not problem ordering a USB bluetooth dongle but it would be nice to get this one figured out if possible.

MacBook Pro and PowerMac G5's, Mac OS X (10.5.7)
