Blue Glow around Secondary Buttons

hey,

I was just wondering why I have a bluish glow around buttons like "Don't Save" in Keynote and all other apps. How can I turn that off?

Thanks.

That bluish glow means that the button has focus. This is common in dialogs so that by pressing enter you can choose the default option (blue button) and pressing spacebar another (often opposite) option, highlighted with a blue glow. It can't be turned off AFAIK, but you can change the color under system preferences->appearance.

Go to System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts and set the radio button at the bottom to "Text boxes and lists only". Or press control-F7 to toggle the setting.

Friends of mine and my MacBook Pro don't have this glow. They're all running Snow Leopard, just as me.

Then I'm not sure I understood correctly your problem. Could you post a screenshot? (I hope it's not against the rules, I don't know)
