PowerBook 1400cs System Disks

I found Apple's website with the System 7.5.3 floppies (all nineteen of them), but now I'm in a predicament.

My Mac doesn't have a floppy drive... however, I do have two machines, a Windows XP [Dell] and an Ubuntu [Customer] box.

What would be the best way of getting these files onto the floppies to install System 7.5.3?

I know there is a Disk Copy application also available, but I don't know how to do that either...

I want this thing back to factory settings (and without all the extra junk)!

There are several 1400cs models http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powerbook/index.html

The 117 & 133 MHz models can use System 7.5.3, however, the 166 MHz model requires System 8.0. All models have a 1.44MB floppy drive & a CD drive. However, you would need the System files installed on a media formatted for the Mac.

After you join, post a WTB (want to buy) for the system floppies or CD. Someone may have a copy for sale.

I got it second hand (obviously), and I only got the floppy drive with it.

I'd rather not invest too much money into this, as it is very old. Especially because I do have the system disks, or at least, the images of them.

I'd rather find a way to make them myself from what Apple has already provided me.

Julian,

At least according to Apple's technical specifications, the 117 MHz model is the only PowerBook 1400cs where System 7.5.3 is supported. However, a "PowerBook 1400 Enabler" is also mentioned. This means that such an enabler would be needed in addition to a "normal" System 7.5.3. Unfortunately, the downloads do not contain this enabler.
