No solution. I thought I had removed everything related with "itunes", "quicktime" or "ipod" on my vista (even I had use the Microsoft Installer cleanup utility!!) and when I´m going to try install an older version of itunes, the same message appears on my screen:

Could not open key:
HKEY LOCALMACHINE\Software\Classes\Interface\{915DA835-02FE-4953-92FA-624BDF5D85AB}\ProxyS tubClsid.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

I'm getting crazy, I can´t update my music!!!!! Has somebody a similar problem to update his old itunes version to the 8.0. version or any newest???????
