I want to share a folder from my MacPro for the other Macs to access without having to provide username/password of any kind. I enabled File Sharing and added the folder to the Shared Folders list (registered user had Read/Write and Everyone had Read only permissions). I also made sure that the Guest Account under Accounts had "Allow guests to connect to shared folders" turned on. When I browse MacPro in Finder it says "Connected as: Guest" but only the default Public folder shows up, the other folder I added is not visible at all.
If I click "Connect As..." and login as a registered user, it connects to the folder fine, but I want to avoid the login step and enable guest connections to see that folder. Any help?
