Tutorials for Final Cut Studio 2

I was wondering if FCS 2 came with tutorials/footage like the first FCS HD did. I know they used the Ducati stuff to demo FCS 2, figured they were tutorials as well. The box only came with one disc which is a DVD overview of the suite and some .m4v files for iPod. Am I missing a disc or are there no tutorials for FCS 2. Thanks.

There isn't any tutorial content or PDF manual on the disc that came with my fcs2. Am I missing something?

Final Cut Studio 2 did have a Tutorial disc that contained the exact same videos that Apple had on the FCS web pages. There is no such disc included with Final Cut Studio 2009. Simply go to the web page for links to free third-party tutorials.

If FCS2 came with a tutorials disc, both myself and my work didn't receive it with the rest of our software. Basically, I'm looking for Ducati footage that I would edit using tutorials. The link above is for FCS2K9 which I do not have.

I just pop in the DVD (so called) tutorial that comes with FCS2. It's more of an overview of FCS2 than a tutorial DVD. Not worth complaining about if you don't have it.

Your work probably got the DVD. Somebody must have thrown it to the side with the excitement in getting FCS2 and it got lost or was made a coffee coaster. And nobody fessing up. I too looked in my FCS box and the DVD was missing. Then I remember, with the excitement in getting FCS2 I throw it in this drawer, and the it was.

Is there a difference in the box content between the FCS2 standard version and the HD version? Maybe that's what happen to those guys.

I'm just guessing here. I was under the impression that there was a HD version available when you bought FCS2. That's all.

Yeah, I have the DVD with the overviews. Apple made it seem like there was a disc with content as well as a tutorial pdf:

It seems that there aren't any tutorials that came with FCS2 like there were with FCS HD. I guess I'll just upgrade to the new FCS and use the tutorials that were suggested.
