Hi,

I have a IPod Nano and use Itunes 8.0. I want to sync only a few selected pictures to my ipod. How can I do that? When I select the option 'sync from iphoto, it doesn't list all the albums/events for me to choose from. Or when I select the option 'sync from pictures folder' the only option I get is all pictures. Is there a work around for this? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Here's a simple "How To" on downloading photos from an iPhoto album on your Mac to an iPod:
1 Create an album in iPhoto to hold the photos you want on your iPod. Call it iPod Photos for example
2 Drag the photos you want from the iPhoto library into the folder you just created
2 Open iTunes, select your iPod in the iTunes Source list.
3 Click the Photos tab and select “Synch photos from.”
4 Choose “iPhoto” from the pop-up menu and the Selected albums button, check the iPod photos album you created.
5 When you want to change what photos are on the iPod just add or remove the photos from the album you have made and syncronise the the iPod

Thanks so much. So only the albums I create in iphoto would be listed as options for syncing. Oh! I thought all the events would be listed too... Its alright though... I can create albums and select the ones I wish to sync with my Ipod... but how does it work with the Pictures folder? The only option I see is 'sync all pictures......'

If you don't want to load photos from iPhoto you can add them from a pictures folder instead. You just use a variation on the steps above:
1 Create a folder on your hard drive to hold the photos you want on your iPod. Call it iPod Photos Folder for example
2 Drag the photos you want from your usual picture folder into the folder you just created
2 Open iTunes, select your iPod in the iTunes Source list.
3 Click the Photos tab and select “Synch photos from.”
4 Choose “Choose Folder” from the pop-up menu and select the iPod photos folder you created.
5 When you want to change what photos are on the iPod just add or remove the photos from the folder you have made and syncronise the the iPod
