Group calendars: CalDAV No Calendar Home Error

Hello,

I've successfully set up the Darwin Calendar Server on my Linux VPS, and all works well for user's calendars, but I can't seem to get it working with groups. I set up the groups, and added users to them, but when I try to connect via iCal (with user/user password and Principal URL to the group) I get the error

Request encountered an unexpected error (domain CalDAV No Calendar Home Error / code 1).

I read somewhere that groups can't have their own calendars by default, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to enable group calendars so that users multiple users can share a calendar. Any help or advice would be great!

Thanks,
Andy

I'm having the same problem, but I'm using Mac OS X Server 10.6.

When I try to connect to a group calendar using iCal on a client machine with:

http://myserver:8008/principals/groups/calendarname/.

The result is the same error you're getting.

I've also tried it with 10.5 Server and client and I'm getting an access denied error.

I hope someone can help.

I had the same problem as Run 'n Gun. 10.6 client connection to 10.5.8 server. Interestingly all of the clients upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard kept the existing group calendar connections. However any attempt to set up new accounts from within 10.6 using the URL http://myserver:8008/principals/groups/calendarname/ results in the same error as AirWebDev. I did check Enable Calendaring + Choose Host in Workgroup Manager, but this was all set correctly.
