opening iweb

opening iweb

tried to publish site to iweb from one computer then send domain file to home computer. now i cant open iweb. error says cannot open file
have no idea why and not a comp tech

Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Click on the domain file and then the Get Info button.
In the Info window, click the arrow to point downwards next to Sharing & Permissions and then change this so that "everyone" can "Read & Write".
Now transfer the file to the other Mac and double click it.

dont have access right now to original computer to do as you suggested
domain file was sent to me using a temporary zip program i think
want to start website all over again but iweb wont open

Quit iWeb, go to Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb and drag the domain file into the trash.
Relaunch and iWeb will create a new domain file.
Save a copy of this blank domain file in a new folder for starting new sites in the future.
