Where are Ringtones in the new ITunes...

I don't believe you are crazy .. I just looked and the closest I could get to the classic view was +View -> Column Browser+

Once in the Column Browser, I looked under +View -> View Options+ and I see no option for view the ringtone icon.

I'll post back if I find anything on this.

In the meantime, check out http://audiko.net/ .. You can make your own there, or you can download ones others have made

I sent feedback to Apple. The help page within iTunes still tells you to use View Options and then select Ringtone .. the Ringtone option appears to be gone.

Just Talked to Apple Rep. He said they have done away with creating your own ringtones, now you have to buy them already made at a $1.29 each, but you can still make ringtones from the song that you have already purchased in the past in the music section with the bell beside it.

to buy ringtones use your iPhone and tap on the iTunes app.

Just checked .. the iPhone iTunes app doesn't display the Ringtone symbol beside the song listings

Thanks for the update. Have you been successful in finding what ringtones are available from iTunes? I searched for ringtones, but iTunes returns ringtone apps for the iPhone.

In iTunes (Computer Version) all song purchaced in the past that could be converted into ringtones still can. Put you cannot purchase a song and convert it into a ringtone any more, now you have to perchase your ringtones on the iPhone by tapping on the iTunes app, the at the bottom of the screen you will see rintones or do a serch for an artist say DEVO first you will see Top Results, then Albums, keep scroling down until you see Ringtones.

You can still make custom ringtones in iTunes, just right click the song you want to make into a ringtone and press the create ringtone button.
