iPhone 3G pay and go

hi fist post hi,
i am on pay and go for 3G but never get 3G ware I live,near littlehampton west Sussex england normal I get edge but I lose the network all the time,then I have to input payandgo.o2.co.uk all the time.is there any way to stop me keep puting this in ever day.thx for your time
