Software Update location

I didn't realize that my prefs were set to check for updates automatically and also to download them automatically. I think it downloaded a ton of them and I don't know where to find them. Typically I want to download them manually because there are some I do not want installed. Anyway, I want to delete them.

HI Cindy,

Open System Preferences/Software Update.

Select the Installed Software tab to see the list of updates already installed.

Click the Scheduled Check tab. Where you see: Check for updates, click the pop up menu.
You can set for daily, weekly, or monthly.

Or for updates to download automatically.

If you prefer, you can go here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1338
and follow the instructions to use the standalone installer.
