How Long For Genius To Deliver Results
I upgraded to iTunes 9 yesterday.
My first few attempts to update Genius resulted in an error message. Late yesterday afternoon I tried again and Genius is still synching with a message stating "Waiting for Apple to Deliver Your Genius Results" with the barber pole line indicating that something is happening.
This has been going on for approximately 15 hours.
iTunes is working fine and even Genius is operating properly in terms of my being able to create a new Genius Playlist using even very recent additions to my library.
I do have an extremely large music library and as I recall it took some time for Genius to download last year when it was introduced -- but I don't remember it taking 15 hours -- and still incomplete.
Is this normal. I can just wait of course since everything that I need in terms of functionality is operating fine and at a normal speed.
