Since upgrading to the latest version of the iPhone OS, I seem to get very choppy scrolling on the iPhone when going through my list of podcasts. So far, I've only noticed that on the poscast listing.
Anyone else seeing that? Has anyone found a solution?
Exact same problem here too. Started immediately after the update and only happens on podcasts. Smooth as silk everywhere else. Annoying. I think I'm going to try to find out if I can roll back to OS 3.0
Ditto. Only smooth if I scroll very slowly, otherwise very choppy. It also appears the individual podcasts are listed in a different order than before. Maybe there's some logic to it but if so I haven't figures it out.
I have the same problem. Sadly, no solution 😟 Tried clearing out old podcasts, which was just a shot in the dark, but nothing doing. It's strange that this stutters but album view doesn't.
I have also run into this same problem since the upgrade. Another thing I have noticed is that many of my podcasts no longer have the date stamp in the podcast listing. An example would be I have 15 to 20 podcasts of Science Friday. I used to be able to tell which Friday each podcast was from by the date stamp. Since the update that has gone away. Is there a rollback to the previous software?
I tried power cycling as well as a hard reset. Problem is still there. (It may be slightly better; not sure if that's just my imagination).
I have friends with iPhones who don't seem to have this problem at all, though, with 3.1. I've only noticed it on the 3GS -- can anyone confirm it occurs on 3G as well?
After going to my podcasts again, I noticed that the hard reset just made it a little better. To get the smoothest scrolling after the reset, I have to scroll up and down the list. Then it's ok.
I can confirm that the same issue is happening on the iPhone 3G. Noticed this as soon as I updated to the latest OS. Very frustrating and, to be honest, not really acceptable. No issues when searching "Artists", "Songs", or other areas. Only occurs in the "Podcasts" area.
