Shift+cmd+S makes all programs quit without warning

I was trying to "Save as a copy" in Photoshop CS2, but the Shift-Cmd-S command made all my programs quit without any warning or dialog, leaving the screen blue for a while. Finder returned to surface (all programs closed, no messages/dialog).

Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce the behaviour, but yesterday almost the same happened: some command made everything quit. It must be Snow Leopard-related.

Did anyone else experience this?

MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.6), 10.6.1

Launch Console.app (/Applications/Utilities/) and look in CrashReporter or DiagnosticReports for a WindowServer crash report. If you have one, file a bug report with Apple. Send bug reports and enhancement requests to Apple via its Bug Reporter system. Join the Apple Developer Connection (ADC)—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report/enhancement request. You'll get a get a Bug/ER ID number; thus, starting a dialog directly with engineering.
