emails won't delete on iphone

emails won't delete on iphone

I have 3 email accounts on my iphone. Starting today, I was unable to delete messages. I delete individual or as a group but as soon as I exit mail, they are back. I have tried restarting but no luck. Other suggestions?

I am having the same problem. I have several email accounts on my phone. Three of them use the same settings. One of those three will not work and every time I try to delete email it lets me go so far and then it goes back to the home screen and the emails are still there.
