Removing key-logger

Someone installed a key logger onto my macbook which runs tiger 10.4.11

Is there any way to remove it without having to reinstall the os?

Once I re-install the os, will it ensure that all the mal ware has been removed?

Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Yes, just make sure no other Drives, USB Pens, or such are connected, disconnect from the Internet also.

Thanks for the response,

I did check out those links prior to posting, and I did find the AoBo and logKext keyloggers while I was browing my folders and searching the activity monitor, however I don't think that i eradicated the problem from the terminal.

does anyone know how to erase 'legKext' from the Terminal?

As well as the AoBo software?

Hi,
Firstly you need to know who installed the keylogger on your computer. If it is your Parents installed it for parental control use.
Or your boss installed it for employee monitoring,
then you'd better not to delete it.

If you are sure it is not your family member who installed the keylogger.

Then you can contact Aobo to remove the keylogger.
