New Sounds!

I just got a load of new sounds for Garageband, and I want to load them into my system, what file do I load them in? The are 3rd party.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Are they loops? What is the format? If they are apple loops you can drop them into your GB browser.

They are MP3 loops.

MP3s aren't Apple loops. So:

- Drop the clip into the timeline.
- Adjust the song's tempo to the loop's (often the BPM no. is in the name) so its edges fall exactly on GB barlines.
- Select "Add to Loop Library ..." from the menu and fill the appropriate fields. The fields for tempo and key should be available if you want the loops to adjust to tempo and pitch of your songs later!
