Long story short, I got a replacement 3GS today due to the phone corrupting the backup files and then messing up the phone. So...My backups are not reliable. I setup as a new phone, but it didn't include my contacts. I didn't ever sync to Outlook or Google or anything like that. My question is: Is there a way to pull just the contacts by copying a file out of a backup somewhere and dropping it into my current iTunes data? I know its a long shot, but I would rather not have to enter everything again!
Thanks in advance for any ideas

Gateway, Windows Vista, iPhone 3GS

There may be a 3rd party utility that provides for extracting contacts from your iPhone's backup, but you would need to import the extraction into a compatible address book on your computer for syncing contacts.

Although contacts are included with the iPhone's backup, the iPhone is designed to be synced with a supported address book application on your computer.

With Vista, you can sync contacts and calendar events with Outlook 2003 or 2007, or you can sync contacts only with the address book used by Windows Mail - Windows Contacts.

Thanks! I found iPhone Backup Extractor, will play with that but I think it'll get me taken care of!
