How to stop web pages from refreshing?

How does one stop sites like Google News and Drudge Report from automatically refreshing?
It gets frustrating when it always seems to happen just when I want to click on a news link.

Sorry, but you can't do that in Safari. However, you can do it in Firefox. Just go to the Preferences > Advanced > General section and check the last box where it says: "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page".
