Canon iPF8000s Driver

Hi,
I have a Canon iPF8000s large Format printer, which will not work in Snow Leopard.
Downloaded the latest driver for this printer which on the Canon website which is for OS X 10.5 and above.
I'm not sure, but it looks like Canon has not provided a driver for snow leopard for there wide format range of printers. The latest driver they have will not talk to the printer, I had to go back to using an old PC to print to the Canon.
If anyone owns a Canon wide format in the iPF range, and you have managed to get it to work in Snow Leopard, could please let me know what driver or what you did to get working again.
It worked fine in Leopard 10.5.

Thanks
Marshall

My Pixma Pro 9000 works fine with no update. Canon recently updated my CanonScan 8600F scanner (two weeks to do so, pretty quick!).

Last driver I could find for yours is for June of this year: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDet ailTabAct&fcategoryid=360&modelid=14413

Keep checking, it may be out soon. Also, did you install all the drivers contained in the extras of 10.6?

The large format drivers are not contained within the Apple update. It only has the consumer inkjet printers.

We have the iPF8100 and have been advised by Canon that Snow Leopard drivers are due the first week of October. Thankfully our production Mac's have not been upgraded yet - and I don't plan on doing so for a few more weeks yet.

In the meantime, there has been some on this forum who have indicated that they have been successful with getting their current 10.5 driver to work, but they add the printer using IP > LPD rather than add it via Bonjour.
